Book fair organized by Velanai Pradeshiya Sabha,Suboffice Allaipitty Public Library on the occasion of National Reading Month 2024 -10.09.2024

On 10.09.2024, a book exhibition was held at Allaipity Roman Catholic School and Allaipitty Parasakthi Vidyalayam on 10.09.2024 by Allaipitty Public Library, Office of Velanai Pradeshiya Sabha in view of National Reading Month 2024.

The theme of this exhibition was “The people who won the world are the people who read” to make the students aware. Many students, Asians and social activists participated in this exhibition.

Velanai Pradeshiya Sabha also participates in Local Government Month event 2024 of Chavakachcheri Pradeshiya Sabha -13.08.2024

On 13.08.2024 on the occasion of Local Government Month for the year 2024, Chavakachcheri Pradeshiya Sabha organized tug-of-war and Yard game competitions for men and women officers and employees at Navakuli Weaving Beach and chess matches were also organized at Navakuli Sub-Office.
Among these, Velani Pradeshiya Sabha won the first place in the chess competition, the first place in the women’s Yard competition and the second place in the men’s tug-of-war competition.

2024 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான உள்ளூராட்சி மாத நிகழ்வினை முன்னிட்டு 13.08.2024 அன்று சாவகச்சேரி பிரதேச சபையினால் நாவற்குழி நெய்தல் கடற்கரையில் ஆண், பெண் உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களுக்கான தாழிழுவைப் போட்டி (கயிறிழுத்தல்) மற்றும் கிளித்தட்டுப் போட்டிகள் நடாத்தப்பட்டிருந்ததுடன் நாவற்குழி உப அலுவலகத்தில் சதுரங்க போட்டிகளும் நடாத்தப்பட்டிருந்தன.
இவற்றில் வேலணை பிரதேச சபையானது சதுரங்க போட்டியில் முதலிடத்தையும் பெண்களுக்கான கிளித்தட்டு போட்டியில் முதலிடத்தையும் ஆண்களுக்கான கயிறிழுத்தல் போட்டியில் இரண்டாம் இடத்தையும் பெற்றமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
